It was a very special meeting because our beloved maestra Iben has turned 80 in Mai!
Our meeting was one big celebration of life and was fully scheduled by parties.

For the first time we didn’t start our work with morning training but party preparations. We acted as performing waiters for many guests of Iben.
It was a magnifical spectacular dinner party with songs, dances, live music by Klezmer Duo and small performances.

A celebration very important to Iben. She has been hosting the party at her home annually for decades. The tradition is very strong and unnegotiable. It consists of a friends and family gathering, group singing, troll procession and burning of it in a huge bonfire.
This year as a gift for Iben we painted parts of Iben’s house facades and cleaned up the garden.
Of course we also trained and performed.
The work was more experimental and concentrated on the group itself. We further elaborated and developed our concert performance and started to create material for a new piece.
